Arthur D. Kuhl is the Managing Partner of the Firm’s Delaware offices. Art focuses his practice in the areas of insurance defense litigation, uninsured and underinsured motorist litigation, no-fault litigation, wrongful death litigation, premises liability, construction injuries and construction defect litigation, subrogation, and collections.
Over his career, Art has completed more than 50 jury trials in Delaware and Maryland, and more than a dozen Delaware Supreme Court appeals and arguments. Along with his individual clients, he represents several major national insurance companies.
Art has extensive experience in all areas of civil litigation, with notable expertise in complex commercial litigation as an experienced jury trial lawyer. He often serves as local counsel in Delaware state and federal courts.
Before becoming an attorney, Art proudly served our country as part of the United States Navy, discharged from the Naval Reserves as a Petty Officer 2nd Class. On active duty he served on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) as a Petty Officer 3rd Class.
Art studied International Corporate Law and Australian Law at the University of Adelaide in South Australia.
In his free time, Art enjoys hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
