January 31, 2025 – RRD Delaware Managing Partner Arthur D. Kuhl will attend Safeguarding Seniors: Protection Case Studies and How the Private Bar Can Help, presented by the Vincent A. Bifferato Superior Court Trial Practice Forum. The presentation will use case studies to highlight some of the ways the Department of Justice (DOJ) Fraud and Consumer Protection Division and the Community Legal Aid Society Elder Law Program use state and federal law to protect seniors, the types of legal services requested, the limits of legal aid and services that can be provided, and areas where the private bar may be able to help meet some of the currently unmet needs of Delaware seniors.

Brian S. Eng, Esq., Manufactured Housing Ombudsperson and Unit Head for the DOJ Consumer Mediation Unit, will moderate a discussion with panelists Brian Canfield of the DOJ Consumer Protection Unit, Craig Weldon, Chief Special Investigator of the DOJ Investor Protection Unit, and Anthony Panicola, Esq., Supervising Attorney for the Elder Law Program of the Community Legal Aid Society, Inc.
