This full-day course will take attendees through the probate process step-by-step. After completion of the course, attendees will be able to file documents in probate court and form good working relationships with executors or administrators. Additionally, you will be able to confidently prepare and file the inventory, troubleshoot common problems many encounter, identify the duties involved in the estate administration process, gain an understanding of intestate laws so you can handle situations when there’s no will, enhance your effectiveness with tips for assisting with closing the estate, and help to bring closure to families going through this difficult time.
This course is designed as a basic-to-intermediate level seminar and is designed for paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries and other legal support staff. Additionally, the course has been approved for 6 hours of Delaware Certified Paralegal Program credits, 6 hours of National Association of Legal Assistants credits, and 6 hours of National Federation of Paralegal Associations credits.
