Stephen is the Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, concentrating his practice on real estate, corporate and financing transactions, He also counsels public utilities in regulatory and transactional matters.
As a partner in the firm’s Corporate & Business Services Group, Stephen has extensive experience in real estate development, sales, acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and commercial leasing. He advises clients in sophisticated transactions involving office buildings, raw land, mixed-use projects, warehouses, and industrial sites through every phase of a real estate transaction, from drafting and negotiating the listing to financing and purchase and sale agreements, through due diligence and settlement. He is a highly knowledgeable counselor who provides strategic guidance to owners, developers, investors, borrowers and lenders, real estate professionals, utility companies, and financial institutions.
In his free time Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, and particularly relishes sailing and skiing with his sons. For many years, Stephen has served on the boards of educational and religious institutions.
