July 2, 2024 – RRD Partner Michael J. Needleman will present Keepin’ It Clean and Objectionable: the Ethics of Representation in Discrete Proceedings, a course that will address the thorny ethical issues that arise in discrete settings. For instance, can you represent a person at a deposition even though you do not generally represent that person?
Michael will explore a variety of ethical situations and discuss how the issue of representation might be resolved. The course will also include discussion about the extent these tricky issues can be used as a sword and a shield.
Due to the unusual nature of the matters, this course will address the issue of representation only in the context of civil proceedings. Registration opens mid-June.
