For newly minted estate administration attorneys, or for those who are looking for a basic refresher, this course will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of estate administration. Specific focus will include discussions on proper asset valuation and distribution, taxation, and account closing procedures. In addition, attendees will learn how to correctly deal with tricky and even difficult estate administration debt issues, including jointly held assets, business ownership and complex tax issues. This full-day seminar offers real-life, practical knowledge in order to fully prepare attendees to handle the entire estate administration process from start to finish. 

This course is designed as a basic-to-intermediate level seminar and is geared towards professionals who want to be more effective in the estate administration process, including, attorneys, paralegals, CPAs, accountants, wealth managers, financial planners, taxation specialists, and trust officers. This course has been approved for 6.7 hours of Continuing Legal Education credit (CLE); 8 hours of financial planners credits; 8.25 hours of Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB) credits; 0.70 hours of International Association for Continuing Education Training (IACET); 8 hours of National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (CPE) credits; and 8 hours of Professional Achievement in Continuing Education credits.
