Our Team Jason S. Garber

Jason S. Garber is a Senior Associate based in the Firm’s Towson, Maryland office and a member of the Corporate & Business Services and Litigation Practice Groups. Jason handles construction, commercial and business disputes, personal injury, and other litigation and administrative matters. With over 25 years of experience, he is a much sought-after litigator licensed in four states and the District of Columbia. Jason also has experience as a mediator and arbitrator and understands the value of alternative dispute resolution. Throughout his career, Jason has represented clients ranging from individuals to large national companies in diverse matters. Due to his desire to dig in and fully understand a client’s problems and/or business operations, he has maintained longstanding relationships with his clients, who implicitly trust him with new matters when they arise.

In 2015, Jason was appointed as a member judge to the Baltimore County Board of Appeals, which handles hearings and administrative appeals and hearings on land use, zoning, licensing, code enforcement, and other matters. He served on the Board from 2015 to 2020 and was elected twice as Chair. Jason has also served as a Baltimore County Administrative Law Judge by special appointment.

For over a decade, Jason has been active in community and education-related issues in Towson and Baltimore County. Jason served as his former neighborhood’s community association’s president for three years. He ran the Towson July 4th Fireworks event for seven years. Jason also served for two years as the PTO President for his children’s elementary school and helped secure State and other funding for new playground equipment. He has testified numerous times at the Maryland General Assembly, the Baltimore County Council, and the Baltimore County Board of Education School Board on education issues such as school overcrowding, capital project funding, food insecurity, and redistricting. He recently served as an appointee to the Baltimore Public School Central Area Elementary School Capacity Relief Boundary Study, and has also volunteered for the Student Support Network, an organization that provides food, clothing, and school supplies for families in need in Baltimore County schools.

Jason loves spending time with his children and exploring new places with them. He is an avid Philly sports fan. Prior to needing multiple car seats, Jason performed improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy in the Baltimore/District of Columbia metro area.
