RRD is proud to sponsor the 2022 Homeless Advocacy Project Annual Benefit presented by Lincoln Financial. For over 30 years, HAP has been committed to providing necessary legal services to those at risk of becoming homeless and those who are currently experiencing the overwhelming challenges of homelessness.

HAP has grown significantly over the years. In 2021, HAP helped 2,857 clients through programs including, HAP’s Veterans Project; Children, Youth and Families Project and SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access & Recovery (SOAR) Project. In addition, HAP helps its clients obtain identification documents such as birth certificates, immigration records, social security cards, etc.

HAP achieves its success through the efforts of its staff and 524 volunteers from 34 law firms, corporate legal departments and law schools; partners in state and city government and at non-profit organizations. Since 1990, HAP has served over 60,000 people, providing free legal services worth more than $106 million dollars to those in need in the Philadelphia area. This year, we welcome HAP’s new Executive Director, Tanya L. Rambert. Ms. Rambert has been an invaluable member of the HAP Team for many years.

We at RRD could not be prouder of our involvement and partnership with HAP and of our colleague and partner, Margie Morris, for being recognized for her contributions to the Organization and local communities. Margie has been practicing utility law for over 40 years in Pennsylvania and Michigan. She is the Chair of RRD’s Pro Bono and Diversity & Inclusion committees and devotes significant time to pro bono legal work.

Thank you to everyone involved for another successful year serving our community.
