April 18, 2024, Pittsburgh, PA – Reger Rizzo & Darnall Partner Christopher H. Schubert, representing New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC, settled litigation filed against the City of Pittsburgh over what was considered excessively high fees imposed for the placement of small cell wireless facilities in the City’s rights-of-way.

In a joint stipulation of dismissal, the City agreed to adopt a revised fee schedule based on a cost study recently completed by the City’s Department of Mobility & Infrastructure. Once adopted, the revised fees are expected to better align with guidance provided by the Federal Communications Commission in its Small Cell Order of 2018. New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC does business as AT&T Mobility.
