Join Bret Goldstein, Partner in Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Employment Practices Group, as he and an esteemed panel of colleagues present a two-day, comprehensive overview on how to handle workers’ compensation cases in conjunction with the National Business Institute. 

The panel of presenters will share their in-depth knowledge of useful hearing strategies and medical issues, as well as other commonly encountered issues, such as Medicare set-asides and occupational diseases, how to accurately assess the value of a claim and how you can determine if an intoxication defense is valid to use when an injured worker’s toxicology report shows evidence of illegal substance use. The presenters will also provide a discussion on the latest workers’ compensation case law decisions that may affect the outcome of future cases.

This two-day, program is designed for attendees at the basic-to-intermediate level. The course has been approved for 12 hours of Certified Payroll Professional credits; 14.4 hours of New Jersey Continuing Legal Education Credits; 14 hours of New York Continuing Legal Education Credits; 12 hours of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Credits; 12 hours of Human Resource Certification Institute ( HRCI) credits; 14 hours of Insurance credits; 1.2 hours of International Association for Continuing Education Training (IACET) credits and 12 hours of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) credits.
