Two RRD Partners Named 2021 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers
Reger Rizzo & Darnall is pleased to announce that two of our Philadelphia-based Partners have been recognized as leaders in their respective areas of practice through their inclusion in the list of 2021 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
Harris J. Chernow, Chair of Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Franchise & Distribution and Hospitality Practice Group, was recognized as a 2021 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in the area of Franchise/Dealership Law. Chernow has developed a national franchise and hospitality practice representing franchisors, franchisees and distributors of all industries. His focus includes franchise transactions and dispute resolution matters, with an emphasis on franchising, licensing, distribution, corporate structuring and retail development. He represents leaders (and start-ups) in the franchising and retail distribution industries throughout the United States, and his clients include franchisors, single and multi-unit franchisee owners, area developers, master franchisees, franchisee associations, distributors and businesses desiring to expand through franchising and distribution systems.
Steven Kapustin, Partner in Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Franchise & Distribution Practice Group, was recognized as a 2021 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Kapustin has served as a neutral arbitrator for more than forty years, mostly as Chair in American Arbitration proceedings, Court Ordered Arbitration, and private arbitrations. His experience includes rulings on numerous professional separations (physicians, accountants, lawyers), and real estate, employment, franchise, shareholder and partnership disputes, with exposure to issues concerning trade information disclosure and financial evaluations. He also has extensive commercial and personal injury mediation experience, both privately and as a Judge Pro Tem with the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and a former member in North Carolina and South Carolina. He was certified as a South Carolina State mediator, after completing more than 40 hours of mediation training.
