Join Harris J. Chernow, Chair of Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s National Franchise & Distribution Practice Group, as he joins with other industry leaders to present To Be or Not To Be a Franchisor or Franchisee hosted by the Philadelphia Bar Association on Tuesday, December 17th.
The seminar will serve as a primer for anyone whose client owns and operates a successful business and, in considering options for how to continue growing and expanding that business, wants to investigate what would be involved in franchising the business model or system. The seminar will also serve to educate those who may have a client who is interested in becoming a franchisee of an existing franchise system.
This CLE program will also cover additional issues and factors, including: how franchising compares to other methods and forms of growing a business (including joint ventures, or maintaining sole ownership but opening other branches); what federal and state legal requirements exist and must be satisfied in order to establish a franchise system; and what protections potential franchisees may have in terms of geographic exclusivity, termination or transfers of their franchises, etc.
This seminar has been approved for 1.5 hours of SUB CLE Credit.
