Join Robert J. Foster, Senior Litigation Partner in Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Philadelphia Office, as he teaches you how and when to raise a preliminary objective effectively. In this two-hour course, Mr. Foster will discuss the commonly misunderstood litigation mechanism, and will provide insight and tips for knowing how and when to raise them so that you can save your clients both time and money!
Mr. Foster will address a wide range of issues during the program, including: how to identify the issues which must be raised on a preliminary basis and how to litigate such issues; the various different challenges that can be made to the sufficiency of a pleading and how to determine whether or not preliminary objections on such issues are practical; the strengths and limitations on trying to get a complaint dismissed on the merits at this early stage; and some alternatives to preliminary objections.
This course has been approved for 3 hours of Pennsylvania CLE credits.
