Samuel J. Farris is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Business Services Group in the Philadelphia office. Sam specializes in advising clients on complex legal issues related to mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, real estate transactions, and corporate governance. He uses his expertise and his problem-solving abilities to provide his clients with practical business solutions.
Sam has experience representing corporate and individual clients in a wide range of matters, including corporation formation, shareholder, partnership, and operating agreements, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and corporate governance documents. He also has experience assisting clients in a variety of engagements, including buy-side and sell-side acquisitions.
While in law school, Sam interned with ARRIS International as a member of the company’s Supply Chain Legal Team. He also gained invaluable experience during his internships with the investment firm Equinox Funds and with a large regional law firm, where he worked in the firm’s Business Law and Transactions Group.
Outside the office, Sam enjoys traveling and playing basketball and pickleball.
