Richard Marmon, Of Counsel at the firm’s Mt. Laurel office, concentrates his practice on the areas of taxation, wealth transfer planning, and estate administration. Rick also has experience in residential real estate and development transactions. His services include tax planning for individuals and business entities, drafting of wills, trusts, general and durable powers of attorney, and advance medical directives.
Rick works closely with individuals and closely-held business owners in all aspects of family wealth preservation, including gifting, testamentary transfers, post-mortem estate planning, and other dispositive arrangements designed to maximize tax savings. Additionally, he has consulted with accounting firms needing specialized tax research services and preparation of federal and state estate, gift, and trust tax return filings, and has served as an expert witness in financial and tax matters.
Rick is a certified public accountant and a certified management account. Since 1985, he has been teaching courses in accounting and law at Rowan University with a particular emphasis on individual and business entity taxation. He has also taught all sections of the CPA exam for a national CPA exam preparation course. Rick has previous Big Eight public accounting experience and served as a student law clerk for the Honorable Philip Gruccio, J.A.D.
When not practicing law, Rick is actively involved in the ministry and enjoys spending time with his wife and family, golfing, camping, playing guitar and writing music.
