Successful 2nd Annual Back to School Supply Fundraiser for Eliza Shirley Shelter

For a second consecutive year, RRD partner Margaret A. Morris, successfully teamed up with Blank Rome and Lincoln Financial to provide back packs with school supplies for the children living at the Eliza Shirley Family shelter.

The collective donations of RRD attorneys and other partners filled 65 back packs with the following: flash drives, combination locks, binders, folders, calculators, rulers, pens, papers, index cars, colored pencils, dictionaries, hand sanitizers, erasers, 3 hole punches, markers, Kleenex, notebooks (big and small), pencil sharpeners, scissors, pencil cases, highlighters, and glue sticks.

They had enough money to create an “extra box” with some leftover supplies, so if a child comes during the school year, they will be given supplies if needed. The staff at the shelter distributed the bags this weekend in time for the start of school on September 9, 2013.
