Cherylle Corpuz, Chair of Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Immigration Practice Group, will present Recognizing the Opportunities of Business Immigration to the Delaware State Bar Association’s membership on Thursday, June 7th in Wilmington, DE. 

Cherylle, and her co-presenter, Akanksha Kalra, Esquire, will provide an overview of the Immigration system and laws, and will discuss the basis of the immigration system through the three departments involved: Homeland Security, State, and Labor. Cherylle and Akanksha will discuss other major immigration themes including temporary visas and those temporary visas commonly used business, including H-1B (and H-1B1, TN, E-3), L-1A/L-1B  (AK) and E-2 visas; the three potential ways to obtain permanent status (business, family or safe haven); the EB-5 Investment Visa Program; and the economic impact immigration has throughout the state of Delaware, as well as the opportunities legal immigration provides. 

The seminar has been approved for 2.0 hours of Delaware and Pennsylvania CLE credits and will be presented live in New Castle County at the Delaware State Bar Association (405 N.
