Nicholas A. Cucé, Jr. is a partner at the firm’s Philadelphia and West Chester, Pennsylvania offices whose practice is focused on land use, telecommunications, and real estate. Nick works closely with commercial and residential developers, landowners, telecommunications companies, and real estate investors throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Nick also represents businesses and financial institutions as their outside “general counsel.”
National telecommunications companies seek Nick’s counsel to negotiate and draft leases for property acquisitions in the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest regions of the United States. He provides counsel to a number of high-profile wireless carriers and technology clients on zoning issues related to the build-out of new facilities or upgrades to existing facilities to ensure they deliver the newest services demanded by wireless customers while complying with FCC regulations and municipal ordinances. With his guidance, clients have obtained the approvals required to build out their networks and gain a greater competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Nick helps clients obtain zoning, subdivision, and land development approvals from municipal boards and commissions. He also represents owners and investors in the purchasing, selling, and leasing of office, commercial, and residential properties. Through his extensive zoning work in Philadelphia, he is well-versed in the city’s licenses and inspections process and with planning commission review. Nick also has considerable experience with the Philadelphia Zoning Board of Appeals, members of the City Council and various civic associations.
As a former zoning hearing board solicitor for Upper Dublin Township and Ambler Borough, his hands on experience has better prepared him to assess municipal positions and issues with efficiency. His thorough, proactive approach allows him to anticipate any volatile issues that may impact his clients’ projects and develop the appropriate strategies to secure approvals from the various municipalities.
Nick has served on the Legislative Committee of the Pennsylvania Wireless Association and is active in numerous civic and professional associations throughout the region.
Outside of the office, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters and dog, Bruce, grilling all year round and acquiring various collectibles.
