The full-day program will focus on the ever-changing employment law arena which requires constant vigilance on the part of human resources professionals. The program will provide attendees with up-to-date information on the Fair Labor Standers Act (FLSA), wage and hour practices, what language you should and should not include in your organization's handbook, best practices for how to handle hiring and firing issues with confidence, ways to ensure your company's social media policy provides maximum legal protections, and tips from the professionals on how you can confidently investigate misconduct, create performance improvement plans and much more! 

The program is designed for the basic-to-intermediate level, and is designed for HR professionals, attorneys, accountants, payroll professional, legal assistants and paralegals, and corporate executives. The program has been approved for: 7.20 hours of New Jersey Continuing Legal Education Credits; 7 hours of New York Continuing Legal Education Credits; 6 hours of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Credits; 6 hours of Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) credits; 0.60 hours of International Association for Continuing Education Training (IACET) credits; 7 hours of National Association of State Boards of Accountancy – CPE for Accountants/NASBA credits; and 6 hours of Society for Human Resource Management – SHRM CP/SCP credits.
