Harris Chernow, Chair of Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s national Franchise & Distribution Practice Group, will serve as moderator during the presentation, Fundamental Legal Aspects of Franchising. The seminar will be presented during the Philadelphia Bar Association’s annual Bench Bar Conference October 13-14, 2017 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The program is being presented by the Franchise Law Committee of the Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. In addition to serving as the program’s moderator, Mr. Chernow, who serves as Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Franchise Law Committee, was also the Course Planner. 

The program will feature a panel discussion from leaders in the franchise industry as they address the fundamental issues and nuances that may be encountered in a franchise and distribution matter, whether you are representing franchisors or franchisees. Panelists will discuss: recent developments and case law updates; applicable state and federal laws; how to analyze franchise offerings; and the franchise model as a client growth strategy.

The program has been approved for 1.5 hours of continuing legal education credits.
