Needleman, Partner in Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Litigation and Insurance Practices Groups, will join an esteemed panel of colleagues to present a seminar during the National Business Institute’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Email and Smartphone Evidence: The Ultimate Guide, a two-day program being held December 18 & 19th in Harrisburg, PA.
The seminar will teach attorneys how to work with new forms of evidence, and how they can stay up to speed on the latest rules, procedures and case law. This two-day course offers practical advice and real-world examples for obtaining ESI and getting it admitted into evidence, all while keeping opposing counsel's out. Topics to be covered include, rule changes and case law developments in technology; best practices for preserving electronic evidence, tips for locating and collecting evidence from the internet and smartphones; how to subpoena records from social media companies, phone carries and other third-parties; how to find, remove, preserve and produce metadata, how you can authenticate texts and social media posts; how to respond to hearsay objections to electronic communications, how to obtain actual examples for getting different types of evidence admitted; and how attorneys can take advantage of opportunities to disarm your opponent and keep their electronic evidence out.
This intermediate level seminar is designed for attorneys, as well as paralegals. The course has been approved for 14.4 hours of New Jersey Continuing Legal Education Credits; 14.0 hours of New York Continuing Legal Education Credits; and 12.0 hours of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Credits.
