Cherylle C. Corpuz, Chair of Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Immigration Practices Group, will serves as a panelist during the Georgetown Law’s 6th Annual Hotel and Lodging Legal Summit. The Annual Summit will be held October 26 & 27, 2017 at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Corpuz will join an esteemed panel of presenters, including Brian Crawford, Vice President of Governmental and Political Affairs for the American Hotel & Lodging Association; and Patty Cousins, Vice President & Assistant General Counsel and Employment Group Leader of Marriott International, Inc. as they present their seminar, Enough Already? Legal and Political Challenges to Meeting Labor Needs with Employment-Based Immigration Programs.
The program will explore the impact of the Trump administration’s immigration policies on employees and contract labor, will educate attendees about the new, expanded inquiries into status by executive agencies, and will discuss proactive measures and best practices to mitigate risk.
In addition to Ms. Corpuz's presentation, Harris J. Chernow, Chair of Reger Rizzo & Darnall's national Franchise & Distribution Practice Group, served as a Board Member on the Summit's Advisory Board, and also served on the Summit's Planning Committee. In this capacity, Mr. Chernow and his fellow Board Members were responsible for organizing, overseeing and advising the Law School in connection with a wide range of details for the annual Summit.
