Cherylle C. Corpuz, Chair of Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s Immigration Practices Group, will join an esteemed panel of colleagues to present, Criminalizing Immigration: Legislation by Executive Order, during the Pennsylvania Bar Associations 29th Annual Minority Attorney Conference. The Conference will be held at the PBI Conference Center in Philadelphia, PA on October 12th & 13th. 

Ms. Corpuz’s presentation will take place on Thursday, October 12th from 9:30 – 11:00 AM, and has been approved for 1.5 substantive CLE credits. In addition to Ms. Corpuz’s presentation, additional program topics include: the current status of efforts to repair, repeal or replace the Affordable Care Act; environmental justice issues impacting minority communities; “stop and frisk” policies and police brutality; the effects of cognitive bias and criminal records; and an ethics program on the legal risks and pitfalls of political engagement.

The 29th Annual PBA Minority Attorney Conference, themed Advocacy & Fundamental Rights for Changing Times, is the premier two-day educational conference, providing networking opportunities, educational seminars and CLE programs focused on leading topics of interest to the legal profession and community. A networking reception will be held on Thursday evening, and a luncheon will be held Friday, featuring a keynote address by prominent Pennsylvania State Senator Arthur L. Haywood III.
