Bret Goldstein Certified as Workers’ Compensation Law Specialist

RRD Partner, Bret R. Goldstein, became certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s (PBA) Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Having completed the certification process, Mr. Goldstein has successfully demonstrated the required level of skill, expertise, and years of practice to be certified as a specialist in the area of workers’ compensation law.

Last year, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court granted accreditation to the PBA Workers’ Compensation Law Section as a certifying organization in the area of workers’ compensation law. With the Supreme Court’s order, the PBA Workers’ Compensation Law Section became the first bar association entity in Pennsylvania to receive such approval.

Traditionally, under the rules of ethics, attorneys are prohibited from advertising any specific expertise or specialization to the public. However, this new certification affords attorneys the opportunity to present themselves as certified specialists in the area of workers’ compensation law.
